Nile Company’s Sales Raise over Pushing Up Prices Worries

The sales of the Nile Company for Consumer Complexes, an affiliate of the Holding Company for Food Industries, rose by 20% during the current week.

Mohsen Zaher, Chairman of Nile Company for Consumer Complexes, said this rise in sales came due to the Christmas holidays and the New Year, referring that the consumer is worried about pushing up prices of the food commodities as the dollar has increased. So they preferred to buy their needs earlier before any increase.

Zaher told “Amwal Al Ghad, said the company is trying to keep the prices balance, especially after finishing the stock and the prices became high after the dollar increased.

It is notable that the company has injected large quantity of flour, macaroni, oil, and sugar to meet the needs of the market and to face the increasing demand during the Christmas holidays. The company also offered discount, about 20%, on all the products; like meat, chicken, and other products in all the branches.
