H&M to launch stores and online trade in Brazil by 2025, the fashion retailer announced on Monday.
H&M opened its first store in Latin America in Mexico, then expanded to Peru, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, and Costa Rica.
“With a population of over 210 million in Brazil and a strong appreciation for fashion, there is considerable potential for expansion in the market,” said H&M in a statement.
H&M will be partnering with Dorben Group, which runs retail operations across 10 countries in Central and South America, to support its Brazil expansion.
The expansion comes in line with the fashion retailer’s shift in focus on North and South America, especially Latin America.
