The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) announced on Monday its participation in four dialogue sessions in the activities of the second Africa Health ExCon, the largest medical conference and exhibition in Africa.
The first session will be on Wednesday, June 7, under the title “Strengthening Regulatory Authorities through WHO Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT)” in cooperation with the World Health Organisation.
The second and third sessions will take place on Thursday, June 8, under the title “A Collaborative System to Support Pharmaceutical Investment & Local Manufacturing Capabilities: The Egyptian Experience”.
The third session will kick off under the title “Paving the Road for Sustainable Biopharmaceutical Production in Africa”. The fourth session will be on Friday, June 9, under the title “Overcoming Obstacles for Localisation of Medical Devices: Strategies & Solutions.”
The event is under the sponsorship of Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and is endorsed by the Egyptian Unified Procurement Authority (UPA), the conference is set to take place from June 6–9, 2023, at Al Manara International Conferences Centre.
