Elon Musk said on Monday that only verified Twitter users will be eligible to vote in polls starting April 15. This came as a move that Musk believes will advance AI bot swarms.
Musk also said that only verified users will be seen on Twitter’s For You recommendations section which displays tweets from various accounts on Twitter.
According to Reuters, Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Last year, Musk said that the platforms will restrict voting on policy-related polls to Twitter Blue subscribers.
Starting April 15th, only verified accounts will be eligible to be in For You recommendations.
The is the only realistic way to address advanced AI bot swarms taking over. It is otherwise a hopeless losing battle.
Voting in polls will require verification for same reason.
