Egypt signs with UAE-based Vacsera a healthcare agreement

Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) witnessed the signing of a collaboration contract along with the holding company for vaccine ‘Vacsera’, UAE-based National Holding, and Scope Investment, announced in a meeting between the partners.

This cooperation with the international companies in UAE is very important to widen the healthcare sector in Egypt, the minister of MoHP Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, stressed. He pointed out the strength of Egyptian-Emirati relations in various fields.

The meeting analysed the ways of cooperation with the UAE side to operate Al Galala University Hospital, according to the latest administrative systems. The hospital will work with a capacity of 577 beds, as it considers as an important and distinctive hospital in Egypt, he added.

The minister discussed the economic study suggesting for cooperation between Vacsera, National Holding, and Scope Investment to operate a vaccine factory.

This would furnish the expansion of the company’s factories and raise its capacity, within the framework of the state’s plan to make Egypt a main centre for the production of vaccines in Africa.

The agreement signed by Heba Wali the CEO at Vacsera and Fareed Bilbeisi the CEO at Scope Investment in the presence of other officials.
