Raya officially signs anEGP490.7 mln agreement to sell BariQ to Intro Group

Raya Holding signed an agreement worth 490.7 million Egyptian pounds ($31.3 million) with Mamdouh Abbas’ Intro Group  to sell its 100 percent shares of its subsidiary BariQ.

In December 2020, BariQ, recycled plastic producer,  announced its intention to set up a plastic recycling facility in the Sixth of October after obtaining financing from Coca-Cola Company.

BariQ, a subsidiary of Raya Holding, was established in 2010 to become the biggest bottle-to-bottle manufacturer of recycled PET plastic in Egypt and MEA region.
