Egypt spends EGP 35bn on housing projects in 4 months

Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Development spent  35 billion Egyptian pounds on several projects from early July until 26 October.

The Minister of Housing, Assem El-Gazzar, reviewed the progress of implementation of Maspero Triangle Development Project, according to a statement on Tuesday.

The project includes building 30-storey residential towers with the ground, first, and second floors having commercial, administrative, and entertainment units, El-Gazzar said during his meeting with the Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly.

El-Gazzar also reviewed the development of the Nile River strip in New Aswan City over an area of 1,050 feddans.
