Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling by 0.18 percent to 11,214 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) added 0.22 percent to 1,835 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dropped by 0.12 percent to 13,149 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 gained 0.16 percent to 2,736 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 rose 0.01 percent to 2,013.99 points.

Total market capitalisation had posted gains worth around 1 billion Egyptian pounds ($63.05 million) to close at 626.791 billion pounds on Wednesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Wednesday, the trading value has neared 2.6 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost reached 421.8 million securities executed over 41,000 transactions.
