Egypt confirms record jump of 910 coronavirus cases on Wednesday

Egypt has posted on Wednesday its biggest daily jump in the number of new coronavirus cases of 910, taking the toll to 19,666, according to a health ministry statement.

The country also reported 19 new deaths that took the tally of virus fatalities to 816. However, the total number of recoveries has surged to 5,205 on Wednesday, from 5,027 recoveries a day earlier, the statement said.
