Egypt to impose final anti-dumping duties on SNF products from Russia, China

Egypt announced on Saturday it has imposed final anti-dumping duties on imports of Sulphonated Naphthalene Formaldehyde (SNF) originating in or exported from China and Russia for five years.

Ibrahim El Seginy, head of Remedies Sector at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, said the ministry’s investigations showed that the Russian and Chinese SNF products were sold at dumped prices and with margins of dumping of around 24.9 percent and 13.6-22.6 percent, respectively.

This confirms a damage to the local industry, El Seginy added.
