Egypt has reported 125 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number to 2190, a health ministry statement said on Monday.
The North African country also reported 5 new deaths from the virus, bringing the total fatalities to 164, the statement added.
Meanwhile, the total number of the fully-recovered cases climbed to 488 on Monday, all have been discharged from isolation hospitals, said health ministry spokesperson Khaled Megahed.
