Egyptian presidency employees donate 20% of their salaries to fight coronavirus

Employees at the Egyptian presidency are set to donate 20 percent of their salaries for three months to Tahya Misr Fund to fight off coranavirus impact, according to Minister of Information Osama Heikal.

Salaries of the Prime Minister and state ministers will be cut by 20 percent for the next three months to support President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s aid program to the seasonal workers.

Madbouly lauds El-Sisi for this decision and expresses all the cabinet’s willingness to have their salaries cut to help Egypt get through this trying time.
