Saudi Arabia has the highest interest in making investments in Egypt in the coming period that is why around 200 Saudi companies will be participating in the Egyptian landmark Economic Summit, Saudi-Egyptian Businessmen Association(SEBA)’s chairman Mohamed Al-Rajhi announced on Thursday.
Al-Rajhi also affirmed that Saudi Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz would head the Saudi delegation in Egypt Summit.
With the theme of ‘Egypt the Future’, the economic summit will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh from March 13-15, 2015.
The 200 Saudi companies will look into Egypt’s investment opportunities during the Summit, Al-Rajhi noted.
The chairman added that the 200 companies represent all the sectors that Egypt’s government would shed light during the conference, including industrial, agricultural, commercial, energy, and communications.
Moreover, Al-Rajhi pointed out that Egypt-Saudi trade exchange stands at US$5 billion and investment volume estimated at US$ 25 billion including US$6 billion issued capital for 3300 institutions.
