Xerox Corporation acquired a 75 percent share of Egyptian market of printers, compared to 63 percent last year, a recent report released by the International Data Corporation (IDC) latest market showed on Monday.
Xerox depends on the graphics sector to enhance its share in the Egyptian market. The graphics sector represents 40 percent of the company’s’ business volume.
The company made contracts with 200 customers including hospitals, medical centres s, and radiology centres which use Xerox’s printers and digital films instead of using high-cost traditional films.
“The company is keen on providing after-sales service to all its customers in Egypt by depending on qualified engineers specialised in digital printing in order to keep up with the customers’ aspirations regarding the high-quality printers offered by Xerox”, said Ashraf Natan the general manager of graphics at Xerox.
