The revenues of Vodafone Egypt have reached EGP 14 Billion (₤ 1.3 billion) within the fiscal year of the company which ended in March 2013.
The financial statements of Vodafone UK revealed that Vodafone Egypt profits before taxes and benefits reached EGP 6.17 billion (₤ 568 million), achieving increase in compared to the last year which reached ₤ 552 million.
Information and Communication Technology Ministry (MCIT) indexes have emphasized the decline of the number of Vodafone subscribers around 42.000 subscribers by the end of 2013, to capture 40.6% of the phone market and ranked first as the most operator acquires subscribers in the market.
Telecom Egypt (TE) has minority share in Vodafone with 45% from Vodafone Egypt’s share while Vodafone UK has 55% from the total shares of the company.
