US’s Republic Crypto expands its presence in MENA through UAE

Republic Crypto said on Wednesday that it is initiating its presence in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA region) through partnering with United Arab Emirates, Ghaf Labs.

The two parties have also partnered with MyCo, previously MContent, to be the first web3 project done by Republic team. Umair Masoom Usmani, MContent Founder, commented applauded the efforts resulting in inking the partnership.

“This incredible tri-party partnership is the result of the collective effort during the past 5 months,” Usmani said.

Anwaar AlMahmeed, Republic MENA managing director explained talks have been ongoing since 2020 to find “potential partners to build our network in the MENA region and establish a long-lasting presence.”

The two companies aim to provide the highest quality service and support for the UAE’s web3 needs. Republic Crypto is a U.S. based blockchain firm founded in 2016. The company provides investment-related services in the private markets, such as blockchain advisory service.

Ghaf Labs is the sister company of Ghaf Capital Partners, with the latter identified as UAE’s first locally managed blockchain.
