The US dollar’s price against the Egyptian pound increased by a half piaster on Thursday in banks to reach EGP 6.9562 for buying and EGP 6.9863 for selling, compared to Wednesday’s levels of EGP 6.9497 for buying and EGP 6.9798 for selling.
The increase in the US dollar’s prices coincides with the Egyptian Central Bank’s 55th offering worth US$ 40 million at FX auction on Thursday.
The euro has reached EGP 9.100 for buying and EGP 9.601 for selling; while the pound sterling has hit on Thursday EGP 10.779 for buying and EGP 11.372 for selling.
