Tunisia’s annual inflation slowed at 9.1 percent in July, compared to last month’s inflation rate that was below June levels at 9.3 percent, according to data released on Saturday by the Tunisian Statistical Institute.
Tunisia’s National Institute of Statistics attributed this growth to a 1.1 percent increase in the prices of the food and beverage group and 2.3 percent increase in the prices of catering, hostels and cafes.
However, the service prices also increases by 6.5 percent, with prices for catering, cafes and hostels increasing by 11.2 percent, public and private transport by 15.3 percent and financial services by 20.7 percent.
