Toyota Motor is set to produce around 10.3 million vehicles across the globe in 2024, Reuters reported on Monday, citing Nikkei.

This comes as the company seeks to renew its record annual production for the second year in a row.

Toyota seeks to do that as a result of the strong sales of hybrid vehicles, as well as the easing of shortage in automotive semiconductors and other components.

By the end of the year, the company aims to produce around 3.4 million vehicles in Japan and 6.9 million overseas.
