A chance to own a truly unique piece – the Girard-Perregaux “Green Auction Edition” Sea Hawk 1000. This is the third year that Girard-Perregaux have supported the Christie’s Annual Green Auction which will be held on April 11th 2012, a charity event which aims to raise funds to ensure protection and conservation of the environment, with the emphasis on water-conservation projects. Last year the brand donated a one-of-a-kind version of its superlative ww.tc Chronograph, featuring a stunning white dial with contrasting green on its day/night disc – this year they’ve gone completely “organic” with an impressive all-green Sea Hawk 1000.
Within that chunky 44mm case is the Girard-Perregaux manufacture GP033RO movement with a power reserve of 46 hours, displayed on its own sub dial at 6 o’clock. “Piece Unique” this may be but this is still a divers watch and as such has all the life-saving features you would expect including a screw-down crown, unidirectional rotating bezel and an anti-bends helium valve.
The Girard-Perregaux Green Auction Edition Sea Hawk 1000 will be auctioned in a live bid as part of the event.
