Tesla, the US-based electric vehicle maker, launched cheaper versions of its Model X and Model S vehicles in the U.S. on Monday.

The lower-cost versions are selling at a price lower than the regular model by $10,000, according to Tesla’s website.

The Model X Standard Range starts at $88,490, while the Model X starts at $98,490.

The cheaper version of Model X has a driving range of 255 miles to 269 miles, while the regular Model X has a range of 330 miles to 348 miles with a slightly faster acceleration speed.

The Model S Standard Range starts at a price of $78,490 while the regular Model S starts at $88,490.

The cheaper Model S has a driving range of 298 miles to 320 miles, and the regular Model S has a range of 375 miles to 405 miles.

The Model S and Model X are the oldest vehicles in Tesla and the price cut is considered an attempt to breathe new life into both models.
