Telecom Minister, Finland’s Ambassador Review Boosting Egypt’s ICT Investments

Egyptian Telecom Minister, Atef Helmy has welcomed Tuula Yrjölä  Finland Ambassador in Cairo , through the meeting they reviewed boosting the cooperation and partnerships in order to attract more investments in the ICT sector and to activate the agreements which signed between the two countries.

They discussed the importance of the cooperation for trade, investment and ICT sectors.

John Frank, the chief of investment and trade at Finnish Embassy and Ms. Nermine El Saadany, Director of International Relations at ICT Ministry have attended the meeting.

Yrjölä asserted during the meeting her country’s desire to boost the cooperation with Egypt, noting that ICT sector is one of the most key sector, asserting that Nokia Group Finland is desiring to expand its business in Egypt.

Eng. Atef Helmy stated that this cooperation will fix Egypt’s confidence in implementing its roadmap that will achieve stability and economic growth rates within the next period.

The Minister emphasized that Egypt is keen on enhancing the cooperation in order to provide job opportunities and the national income of the country.
