U.S. Stocks Rebound After Worst Weekly Hit This Year

U.S. stocks climbed Monday, with the S&P 500 index rebounding from its largest weekly hit in five months, as investors awaited quarterly earnings from the technology sector and Caterpillar Inc. reported Chinese production to be increasing.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 19.66 points to 14,567.17. The S&P 500 index added 7.25 points to 1,562.50. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 27.50 points to 3,233.55.
