During the event, which was being held under the theme, ‘Enabling Digital Economic Growth,’ Mohamed Fouz, CEO, Smartworld, detailed the company’s vision and mission, the new structure, growth aspirations and strategic goals for the next four years.
During his speech, Fouz also shared how Smartworld is focusing on being a key Digital Economy enabler for businesses in UAE and the Middle East. Participation in the digital economy is, for an increasing number of businesses, becoming a matter of economic necessity. Most businesses now realize that to remain competitive and to conduct business efficiently, they must adopt electronic means for business processes. Under the new Smartworld strategy, the company is placing strong focus on leveraging its skills and abilities to drive in digital economic growth for its clients across the Gulf, Middle East and African regions.
