Egypt is fully capable of protecting the country amid the risk of regional escalation from the Israeli war on Gaza, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said on Saturday during the inauguration of the International Manufacturing Convention and Exhibition.
Sisi’s remakes came as he addressed the ongoing violence attack in Gaza, while a drone crashed overnight Thursday in the Egyptian Red Sea town of Taba, near the border with Israel.
He also welcomed the Arab resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly to immediately stop the violence in Gaza, which was shared by world countries that support peace and stability.
It is worth mentioning that during an emergency session on Thursday, speaker after speaker backed the Arab Group’s original draft resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza, except for Israel’s U.N. Ambassador Gilad Erdan.
