Al Bawani, a leading Saudi construction firm, said it has won a contract from Asharqiya Chamber, one of the kingdom’s oldest and well-established service organisations, to build a new commercial tower in the kingdom’s Eastern Province.
The Al Kharwa Investment Tower project, which is being built at an investment of SR335 million ($83 million), will be located next to the headquarters of Asharqia President’s House.
The unique design of the tower offers an innovative environment that suits the modern style of the business community and its services.
It is in parallel with the development and renewed ambitions of the business environment in the Eastern Region, which is characterised by privacy and aesthetic appeal, said the statement from Al Bawani.
The design of the project takes into account the various needs that are commensurate with the aspirations of the business sector and aims to facilitate their work, and improve performance, remarked Abdulhakim bin Hamad Al Khalidi, chairman of Asharqia, after signing the deal.
The signing ceremony was attended by Engineer Fakhr Al Shawaf, CEO of Al Bawani, and Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Ahmed AlMuhaidib, Bandar Al Abri, Saadoun Al Khalidi, Salah Al Qahtani, Dari Al Otaishan, Anoud Al Amah, Nasser Al Bajash, Wabel.
Al Khalidi pointed out that the business sector believes that the investment environment in the kingdom is fertile and attractive to the aspirations of investors from different sectors.
“The project is seen as a distinctive addition to the development movement in the region and a vehicle to attract a variety of investments,” he stated.
“And the selection of a national company to implement this large project confirms the readiness of national institutions and companies and their ability to implement major national projects,” he added.
