Samsung- Egypt to release the first Tizen-powered smartphone in the Egyptian markets at the beginning of 2016, IT and Mobile Product Manger Raafat Khalil said Tuesday.
Khalil added that Samsung has released Tizen smartphone in the Indian markets which are similar to the Egyptian ones.
The official made these remarks on the sidelines of the press conference held by the firm Tuesday to release Galaxy Tab S2.
Tizen is an operating system based on the Linux kernel and the GNU C Library implementing the Linux API targets offering a consistent user experience across devices.
