Saleh Kamel Centre of Islamic Economics (SKCIE) at Al-Azhar University will hold a symposium about “Investment Climate and Future of Islamic Banking in Egypt” next Tuesday, in collaboration with the General Council for Islamic Banks & Financial Institutions (CIBAFI) based in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Egyptian Islamic Finance Association under the auspices of the President of Al-Azhar University Osama El-Abd.
The symposium will host a number of economic experts such as Abdel Rahman Youssry, professor at Faculty of Commerce – Alexandria University and winner of the Islamic Development Bank’s Prize in Islamic Economics; Omar Zuhair Hafez, secretary general of CIBAFI; Sami Ibrahim Al-Swailem, member at Islamic Development Bank – Jeddah; and Mohamed El-Beltagy, chairman of the Egyptian Islamic Finance Association.
The 14th Saleh Kamel Incentive Awards in Islamic economics Ceremony for 2011/2012 will be held after the symposium.
