Sakhr Software Company in partnership with two Italian companies will provide the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) with scanning advanced applications for converting scanned images of handwritten, typewritten or printed checks and smart cards into machine-encoded texts.
Such move came as part of Sakhr’s program which will benefit NBE in reading customers’ data in a faster and more efficient way, said Khalid Al-Askary, CEO of Sakhr
The company prepares a new marketing system to address more banks and international companies for benefiting from the company’s programs.
Sakhr will supply NBE with 500 scanners which use the optical character recognition (OCR) method in converting scanned texts to machine-readable texts.
