RIM to host first BlackBerry Developer Days in Cairo

maker Research In Motion (RIM) will be hosting its first ever BlackBerry Developer Days in Egypt on April 1-2, 2012, at Smart-Village in Giza, and is inviting developers from across the country to join and find out more about developing applications for BlackBerry® smartphones and the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet.

The two-day conference will highlight the fantastic opportunitiesthatthe BlackBerry platform offersdevelopers with over 75 million users worldwide, and will cover topics ranging from the different tools available to publishing and monetizing applications on BlackBerry App World™.

The first day will feature introductory sessions on the BlackBerry development platform and available tools, Android apps on the BlackBerry PlayBook and BlackBerryApp World monetization. Day two will host hands-on labs to teach developers about creating BBM™ connected apps, as well as HTML5 apps with BlackBerry® WebWorks™.

The BlackBerry Developer Days will feature speakers from RIM, as well as members from the BlackBerry® Alliance Program, which offers developers access to resources at RIM for technical development, training, distribution and marketing.

The BlackBerry Developer Dayswill be held at Smart-Village, TIEC Building (B5). Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, Giza.
