Poland is sending this month three delegations of senior government officials and investors to Egypt to explore investment and joint manufacturing opportunities.
The first delegation, comprising representatives of Poland’s major state-run rail operators, will visit Egypt later this week to explore opportunities to invest and jointly manufacture trains for the Egyptian railway network, said Ahmed Antar, head of the Egyptian Commercial Services Office, on Tuesday.
Antar further said that another delegation, including officials in the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and leading firms, would visit Egypt between April 22nd and 24th, to discuss Poland’s participation in the Egyptian project to plant one million and half million feddans.
Egypt will also receive between April 27th and 29th Poland’s third delegation, which will encompass a number of firms operating in the renewable energy businesses, he added.
This delegation will discuss Poland’s opportunities to invest in renewable energy projects in Egypt.
“We are putting now the final touches on an anticipated visit of a big delegation from Poland’s Special Economic Zone to Suez Canal by mid-May. The delegation aims to activate agreements related to establishing the Polish industrial zone in Suez Canal area.” Antar stated.
