OTMT Tops Egypt Bourse’s Volumes Traded in Week

In a week coincided Easter and Sinai Liberation Day Holidays, Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding S.A.E. topped volumes traded by the ten active firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange, with 237 million securities.

OTMT(OTMT.CA on EGX)’s amount of turnovers hit around EGP 311 million through last week trading sessions.

Amer Group Holding (AMER.CA on EGX) ranked second as its volume of trades amounted to 60 million securities worth EPG 104 million.

Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA on EGX) came third reporting a volume of trades of 40 million securities worth EGP 91 million.

Fourthly, Egyptian Resorts – ERC (EGTS.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades hit 40 million securities worth EGP 69 million.

Fifthly, Palm Hills Development (PHDC.CA) had a volume of trades reached 27 million securities worth 114 million.

Sixthly, Global Telecom Holding (GTH) (GTHE.CA on EGX) (Previously Orascom Telecom Holding S.A.E.) recorded a volume of trades reached 24 million securities worth EGP 126 million.

Arab Cotton Ginning (ACGC.CA) came seventh having a volume of trades reached 18 million securities worth EGP 113 million.

Upper Egypt Contracting (UEGC.CA) has been ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 14 million securities worth EGP 33 million.

Citadel Capital (CCAP.CA on EGX) has been ninth reporting a volume of trades reached 13 million securities worth EGP 64 million.

At the bottom of the list, Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA on EGX) has come tenth recording a volume of trades reached 12.5 million securities worth EGP 19.5 million.
