OTMT Ranks First in Egypt Bourse’s Volumes Traded during a Week

Egypt’s Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding ranked first, acquiring the highest volumes traded among ten active firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange throughout last week’s trading.

Orascom’s (OTMT.CA on EGX) seized total volume of trades amounting to 177.7 million securities, with turnovers worth EGP 214.9 million through last month trading sessions.

Coming second on the list, Amer Group Holding (AMER.CA on EGX) as its volume of trades amounted to 154.2 million securities worth EPG 186.4 million.

Palm Hills Development (PHDC.CA) came third reporting a volume of trades of 67.5 million securities worth EGP 299.8 million.

Fourth, Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades hit 55.8 million securities worth EGP 90.8 million.

Fifth, Qalaa Holdings (formerly Citadel Capital) (CCAP.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades reached 55.6 million securities worth EGP 254 million.

Sixthly, Egyptian Resorts – ERC (EGTS.CA on EGX) recorded a volume of trades reached 35.2 million securities worth EGP 55.5 million.

Upper Egypt Contracting (UEGC.CA on EGX) came seventh having a volume of trades reached 31.6 million securities worth EGP 86.4 million.

Talaat Moustafa Group (TMGH.CA) has been ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 22.9 million securities worth EGP 255.8 million.

Arab Cotton Ginning (ACGC.CA on EGX) has been ninth reporting a volume of trades reached 19.7 million securities worth EGP 104.7 million.

At the bottom of the list, El Nasr Clothing & Textile (KABO.CA) has come tenth recording a volume of trades reached 19.3 million securities worth EGP 100.7 million.
