Oracle starts Cloud Day in Cairo

Oracle Cloud Day has kicked off today in Egypt. The event focuses on the concept of digital transformation which prepares Egypt to the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

In the presence of senior Oracle officials and Egyptian executives, the event takes place in Cairo for two days.

Oracle Digital Day is meant to shed light on how can digital transformation be turned into a reality through a number of tools like Oracle’s PaaS and IaaS services.

Egypt has been a priority market for Oracle, said Bassel Mubarak, Technology and Country Leader of Oracle Egypt, asserting that his company had a number of successful investments in the Egyptian ICT sector during the last two decades.

He added that Oracle Digital Day occurs annual and in line with introducing Oracle’s latest innovations in Egypt.

The event also showcases how to harness a cloud platform and infrastructure with the power to capitalise on digital opportunities.

It will also introduce a complete cloud strategy that can transform the business and IT systems for SMEs.

During the event, a number of Oracle’s clients like Juhayna and IGI will share their experiences on how cloud computing positively influenced their businesses.
