Egypt’s National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) stated that it will finalize making of the conditions in regard to AVL licence Automatic tracking of Vehicle Location within the next week.
Amr Badawi, NTRA Executive President, said AVL licence will be discussed by the beginning of 2013 and which it will reduce the car theft rates, it will also contribute to reducing the lawlessness.
He explained that delaying the AVL licence is due to the rejection of a number of security agencies.
Its Worth noting that Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) is an integrated system based on Global Positioning System ( GPS) with some of navigational functions such as direction, distance and time, it consists of receiver devices to monitor Coordinates ground with GPS.
