New Aswan Apparatus got EGP 240 million from the fiscal year 2011-2012 state’s budget, for implementing water and sanitary projects in the city, providing the lands with facilities, and building the units of the social housing projects, as well finishing the apparatus’ main water station with capacity of 25.000 cubic meters every day.
Eng. Hazem Arafa, the apparatus chairman, said this budget is sufficient for completing the apparatus” plan in the new fiscal year. The apparatus’ share from the social housing project includes facilitating 500 acres, to be presented to the average-income to build, plus constructing 100 buildings with 5 stories; almost 20 residential units per building.
The apparatus delivered 317 plots of land, and it issued licenses for the civilians to construct these lands.
