National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the country’s largest state bank, studies pumping 200 million Egyptian pounds to fund the expansion plans of Emisal – The Egyptian Salts & Minerals Co.
A source told Amwal Al Ghad that the company seeks to establish four projects with production capacity of 1.284 million tons with investments of 250 million pounds.
The projects will be executed in cooperation with Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency as part of disposal of solid waste project.
Furthermore, the company will start executing the projects during 2019.
NBE will fund 80 percent of the total cost of the projects along with a grant from the ministry of environment varies between 10 and 20 percent.
Egyptian Salts & Minerals Company is specialized in manufacturing of industrial chemicals including anhydrous sodium sulfate, sodium chloride and magnesium sulfate.
