The number of subscribers in Mobinil, the Egyptian Company for Mobile Services, amounted to 32.3 million ones by the end of June 2012, compared to 30.5 million subscribers last year; hiked by 6.1%, according to the company’s consolidated financial statements.
The company’s net losses in H1 of 2012 are EGP 46.987 million, dived by 45.2%; compared to EGP 85.749 million net losses last year.
The operating incomes, during H1 of 2012, rose to EGP 5.088 billion; compared to EGP 5.047 billion last year.
Meanwhile, the operating net profits declined to EGP 347.082 million, compared to EGP 628.532 million in Hi of 2011.
The non-consolidated financial statements of H1, 2012 revealed that the net losses reached EGP 14.793 million, compared to EGP 43.884 million in H1 of 2011.
The company’s capital is EGP 1 billion, distributed on 100 million shares; with EGP 10 per share.
