Senior sources in Misr Insurance Company revealed that the company is about to win the insurance’s tender on Helwan South Power Project with total insurance amounts up EGP14 billion.
The sources explained that Misr Insurance addressed to win the tender but there are still some documents being prepared to be sent to the power plant.
The document will include the coverage of all engineering risks regarding the operation of plant and the necessary equipments in addition to the coverage of all construction and installation of the plant.
Furthermore, the sources added that the document includes three years during the construction period of the plant, two years for a period of maintenance after the construction, noting that the tender has seen competition between the three firms other than Misr Insurance included Suez Canal General Insurance, the Arab Group Egyptian Takaful Insurance “property”, as well as to Egyptian Takaful Insurance “property.”
