Egypt’s Misr Insurance Company (MIC) eyes the launch of 4 new products within the upcoming period after getting the regulatory approvals, Ahmed Mostafa, Head of Risk Management and official spokesman said on Thursday. The new products aim to fill the growing market needs.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, Mostafa clarified that those products are: providing an insurance coverage for cars against political violence, in addition to three other insurance policies for agriculture, guarantee of payment, and for Egyptian workers abroad against different accidents.
He added that MIC intends to expand into offering insurance policies for the personal accidents of Egyptians working in Arab countries, pointing out that the company would start with Jordan in cooperation with one of the largest companies in Jordanian insurance market.
