The new minister of industry, Eng. Hatem Saleh, will receive within days suggestions of legislative amendments, which the members of FEI, Federation of Egyptian Industries, will submit. These suggestions concern 6 laws need urgent reconsideration to reactivate the investment climate.
The memorandum revealed that these laws are consolidated companies act, safe exit from market act, conflict of interest act, freedom of information act, e-commerce act and sales on credit act.
Sources in the ministry of industry and foreign trade said the minister during the meeting underscored the necessity of achieving all the legislative suggestions and referring them to the specialized parliaments for discussing.
Dr Adel AlEzaby, FEI’s member of the board, said the six acts are very important which the industrial sector needs amending them during the coming period in order to attract more Egyptian and foreigner investors.
