Dr Mohamed salem – Minster of Communications and Information Technology- opened a number of expanding projects in the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), which included the launch of 3 new technological incubators that involve specialized companies in the fields of mobile technologies and integrated electronic circles.
The minister also opened a center that supports the designing and production of integrated circles, and this center aims at serving universities and industrial sector, as it is provided with the best equipments of designing these circles, beside the boards of prototypes designing which depends mainly on the system of matrices (FPGA), and these openings happened amid another openings of new laboratories in the center.
Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, which belongs to the ministry of communications has launched a new initiative under the title of “Hayi” to spread the concept of business leadership between youth all over the republic.
Salem also witnessed the lunch of this initiative adopted by the “TIEC”, which aims at encouraging the small and medium enterprises as well as the young creative graduates all over the republic to develop technological applications in Arabic language for internet and mobile phones so as to increase the Arabic content on the internet, besides employing the social networks at the levels of the residential district or area in the 10 governorates included in the initiative, which are Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Aswan, Dakahlia, Sharkeya, Asuit, Port-Saieed, Damietta, and Meniya.
