The Egyptian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister said the size of the expected investments in the sector is ranging between EGP16-18billion.
The Minister added in a keynote speech at Euromoney’s 19th Annual Conference Cairo on Monday that the Ministry is seeking to offer several major projects, including infrastructure and the national services for citizens.
Helmy explained that the expected Gulf investments in ICT sector, specially the infrastructure and the technological zones will be announced in Cairo ICT Conference and exhibition within the coming month.
He explained that he will meet the Egyptian Health Minister Dr. Maha Rabat within the next week in order to study offering several PPP projects.
Helmy has informed Amwal Al Ghad that the Ministry has started to consider many projects in cooperation with the Planning Ministry, on the top priorities ‘Post Address’ project, noting that he will hold a meeting with the supreme commission for the PPP projects with days.
