Egypt’s state-run AMOC Q1 net profit ups to 402.6mn pounds

Egypt’s state-owned Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) said Tuesday its first-quarter net profit jumped to 402.6 million Egyptian pounds ($22.8 million), from 84.8 million during the same period last year.

Sales rose to 3.53 billion pounds, compared with 1.23 billion pounds last year.
