The Marine Hull Insurance Committee at the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) will hold a symposium on the basics of risk and damage assessment, said Essam Rashed, head of the committee and general manager of marine insurance sector at Suez Canal Insurance Company.
The Committee set the main points which will be discussed in the symposium such as the restrictions facing assessment experts and the future plans for qualifying these experts in its meeting last week, he noted.
The Committee asked the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) to give it information about marine insurance producers needed for its study. The date of the symposium will be determined after finalizing the main points of the issue, he added.
