Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) said on Sunday the work was progressing at a steady pace on the Dh223 million ($61 million) Ruwais-Ghayathi Road project in the Al Dhafra Region of the emirate.
The key infrastructure project was a significant one for the region and was likely to be completed in time in August next year, said senior officials of Musanada while interacting with Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, at the project site.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan also inspected the infrastructure works in the Eastern Basin and the completion of 136 new housing plots in Ghayathi in the Southern Basin at an investment of Dh110 million ($30 million).
He lauded the efforts of the companies responsible for these projects in Al Dhafra, which will serve the people of the region and local government agencies responsible for transport, roads, housing, education, health, public utilities, services centres, and other long-term projects.
Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by several senior officials during his visit.
