Kuwait’s Warba Bank has signed two agreements with Britain’s Standard Chartered to facilitate transactions in Asia, as trade levels increase between the Middle East and North Africa region with Asia in general and China in particular.
Warba Bank joined Standard Chartered’s ‘Asia Express Guaranteed Payments Programme’ which ensures delivery of funds to beneficiaries in Asia, on the same day or next day.
The Kuwaiti bank also signed ‘China Renminbi (RMB) Clearing Services agreement’ to provide its clients with access to the internationalization of RMB, KUNA reported.
