EMAC Contracting, affiliated to Kuwait’s Al Kharafi and Sons Group, says it has finalised 45 percent of Shubra-Benha highway road project, at a cost of 1.06 billion Egyptian pounds ($60.1 million).
Samir Fathy, EMAC’s chief executive, said Saturday that his company was mandated to execute some other road flagships worth 300 million pounds in the first phase of the country’s new administrative capital.
“We target doubling our business volume to reach more than one billion pounds at the end of 2017,” Fathy further noted.
EMAC is negotiating with a number of foreign firms to implement some additional water and sewage desalination plants, the Egyptian official added.
