Action at Kuwait Stock Exchange was generally on a downward turn on Thursday, with deeper price index decline in the second half of the trading session to a final reading of 6,243.5, a down of 5.9 points, while the weighted index ended the session on 423.22 points, a down of 0.23 points.
Trades came to 5,819 deals worth KD 46,000,980 million ($165.352.532.82 million), with 435,055,000 shares changing hands. The sector indices meanwhile were mixed, with biggest gain of 49.7 points in the insurance sector and biggest loss of 74.8 points suffered by the industrial index.
Gainer share of the day was National International Company, biggest loser was Gulf Glass Manufacturing Company, and most traded was Al-Deera Holding Company. Data have been compiled by Kuwiat News Agency (KUNA).
