Egyptian actor, Karim Abdel Aziz is set to star in a new Marwan Hamed movie telling the story of Ancient Egyptian King Tutankhamun.
The announcement comes after the blow-out box office successes of The Blue Elephant in 2014, The Blue Elephant 2 in 2019, and Kira We El-Gin in 2022.
The star is reuniting with Hamed and writer Ahmed Mourad for the fourth time to recreate ancient Egyptian history with a cinematic portrayal.
The movie will be called Al Faroon Al Akheer or The Last Pharaoh, and it is set to be split between the life of King Tutankhamun in the 14th century BCE and the 20th century.
Abdel Aziz is set to be playing a character in the modern era that the movie tackles. The movie is expected to be a legendary historical work to feature a number of Egyptian and international talent stars that are yet to be announced.
The film will be produced by both Media Hub and United Media, as it is expected to be released in 2025.
